Terms and Conditions — Summary

This summary explains the main rules for using Pre-Deals. Read the Full Terms and Conditions and the specific conditions on your deal page before committing. This summary does not replace the full terms, and neither document removes your statutory rights. The full terms explain these rules in detail; the version accepted for your transaction remains applicable to it.

Our role and your agreement

Pre-Deals is operated by Pre-Deals(GB) Ltd, 318 Old Street, London EC1V 9DR. We bring demand together and negotiate custom deals with suppliers, tailored in price, quality, quantity or other agreed terms. The supplier identified for your deal is the legal seller. Pre-Deals facilitates the purchase, collects payments and administers refunds under the agreed arrangements. Any buyer fee is disclosed before payment. You must actively accept the platform terms when registering and the relevant deposit or final deal conditions before paying. Browsing alone is not express acceptance. Paid commitments require you to be at least 18; anyone acting for an organisation must be authorised.

Deposits and full payment

A deposit demonstrates serious buying interest and counts towards a potential purchase. Before taking it, we disclose the proposed specification, price or price range, delivery expectations, deadlines and deposit conditions. We state if a supplier has not yet been allocated. Before collecting the balance, we disclose the supplier and final deal terms. Your purchase order becomes binding when Pre-Deals receives full payment. If the final offer meets the disclosed conditions, your deposit counts towards the purchase. If you change your mind, the disclosed cancellation conditions and applicable legal rights apply; paying a deposit does not automatically mean it can be forfeited.

Failed or materially changed deals

If a deal fails, no supplier is appointed by the disclosed deadline, or the final offer materially differs from the conditions disclosed before your deposit, you may decline and receive the full amount paid back. Alternatively, you may expressly choose account credit. Credit is applied to your next authorised purchase before any additional payment is collected. Credit is optional and does not replace a refund without your agreement.

Cancellation, returns and problems

Each deal page explains its cancellation and return conditions before payment. Custom commercial terms do not automatically exclude consumer cancellation rights. For qualifying goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised, change-of-mind cancellation, returns and exchanges are excluded where the law permits, unless the seller offers otherwise. Applicable rights for faulty, damaged, misdescribed or non-conforming goods or services remain protected. Service cancellation rules are assessed separately.

After delivery, contact the seller first about returns or refunds. If the seller gives no substantive response within three working days, Pre-Deals may assess the claim and issue an eligible refund from supplier funds held or payable under the supplier agreement. This is not an automatic refund or a delay to statutory deadlines. Working days exclude weekends and public holidays in England and Wales. Failed-deal refunds are handled directly by Pre-Deals.

Accounts, privacy and changes

Provide accurate information, protect your credentials and use the service lawfully. Our Privacy Policy explains data use; optional marketing and cookie choices are separate. We may update the terms, displaying their version and effective date. Minor editorial updates may be published without separate notice. Material changes are notified, and renewed agreement obtained, where required. Updates do not retrospectively reduce rights under existing orders.
